So I got these cute striped socks from American Eagle on sale, and started to cut and sew while on the phone w/3 people from Verizon wireless. We don't always get the best reception out here, but my oldest has almost all her friends w/them, and so it is WAY cheaper as we always talk or text one another .
So I let the stripes dictate the body positioning.
Now the feet are on board.
Can't forget the tail!
...nor the head...
Oh, this other toe cap would make a cute cap. Just need the holes for the ears. The head is positioned in the cap.
Well, need an eye, no?
Let's pin two.
OK- so Serge said a round nose was needed.I love my new scallop edge scissors. They are so much fun cutting these wool felt and wool flowers.
I just love the colors on the body!Had to put him(?) together! Body and paws sewn. He's just pinned together a little.
These are just laying on his face- what he'll actually look like is , right now, a slight mystery, perhaps.
But, he will have some expression, just not sure which at this point. But, he is kinda' cute for a little softee, don't you think?
And see, NO FRUSTRATION!!! for spending 1 hr. and 32 min. on the telephone with my wireless carrier- well, a bit, but it certainly made the time less frustrating:) !

So what do YOU do when you call your wireless company, and you know that you will be on the phone for 45min.-an hr. and a half???

Adorable!
Very cute - and a great solution to a big problem (the long phone call!)
Darling! You should submit some of your creations to the Stampington publication, "Stuffed" -- I'll bet they would publish your work!
