Transitioning into the future

oh, but would it be
what I envision
Galloping off into the meadow
carousing with the lilacs
Serenity awaits-
The winter, she 'be' hard
the spring on ancient water
trickling like a stream
wandering the woods,
over the rocks
I step forward
a rock moves
I enter an area where the sun shines through
The smell of dead leaves, the wildflowers in the air
holding vigil while I walk.
Outside the glen the sun is  hot-
Inside this world the coolness drifts upon me
I dance upon the rocks
as I enter into the grassy area up ahead.
I will make it in time to relax and enjoy.
This feral night
we call life...

"Say what you need to say...do it with a heart wide open... In the end, better to say too much, than never to say what you need to say "...J.M.(listen to John in the playlist...)

Well, I don't think that Blogger is letting my photos uplaod, but I'll try one more. This is a vintage style doll made by Momentos-Stacey Bear (sp?) from Pa... She sits on my foyer farm table below The Three Graces vintage oil painting we have hanging in the foyer. You can't really see the painting.Hubby found it in an abandoned building , years and years ago before we met.

My 12 yr. old son does artwork on Adobe. He draws the picture, then scans it in to the computer, then re-draws it in Adobe Photoshop, and collages elements/background...Then he reverses it and prints it onto transfer paper to make t-shirts. A very creative lad.Thought I'd show some of his work, but have to transfer the images to jpg or such in order to show here.

And the  photo above is an old  picture I found & put on a t-shirt  for my niece/goddaughter, who loves cowgirls. I made her be the cowgirl.:) She's a very special girl.

So I had an artist date w/my middle child. Isn't she cute? All 5 ft. 11 in. of her:) She brought her dream notebook. I forgot mine, so I went into my glove compartment to get my trusty cowboy notebook. My princess has written quite a few dreams. I wrote some artist goals for the year. The onion straws were so fine and devine, and we split a yummy burger. Then we went and priced out flooring.

And the top photo is my cute little nephew, Misha, born a year ago on my birthday. Pretty cool, huh? He lives abroad, so I can't wait to meet and hug the little guy.

Well- I'm ready for the summer and school to be out. I'm ready for less of everything! and to actually sit down and create.

My office is in my living room, while the builder repairs walls and molding in it, and I have 8-14 people staying at my house the beginning of June, while my aunt and uncle have their 50th wedding anniversary celebration. It's turning into a mini reunion. I love the company, as long as there's help with the cooking and cleaning in the kitchen- and there will be! I have fabulous nieces, and a very helpful sister.:)

I just know that things will either get done last minute, or the office items will go back into the office as is. It's amazing how long these builders can drag things out. We've been waiting 2 1/2 years for them to repair- since we moved in! They promised from day one, then took away their promise. They wanted arbitration!Eckk!-the cost alone is ridiculous. And our office cost hardly anything to repair! Where are the brains these days? We finally got a letter stating that they'd do what they're obligated to do. Seems like an article in the state laws , recited to their answering machine, as stated to me by the Attorney Gen'ls . Off. may have done the trick! That and prayers. :) At least it's getting done. I need to 'mess up' my dining room to create. One mess at a time please. But I'm getting really antsy, and have so many goodies to share. I wish they'd hurry up!

Anyone have any ideas as to how to move these things along and get to work creating?la
